Despite being a carrier of Lafora disease, I'kaika doesn't let anything slow him down. His zest for life is truly inspiring, and his playful antics always bring a smile to our faces. Whether he's chasing after a ball or enjoying a game of tug-of-war, I'kaika's enthusiasm is infectious, making him a beloved member of our High Deseret Hounds family.
Alrik
​Alrik is a gentle giant, tipping the scales at 70 pounds of solid muscle. Despite his impressive size, he is the epitome of a mellow and laid-back companion. Alrik enjoys a good play session but is equally happy to lounge around and relax. His calm demeanor and easygoing nature make him a wonderful friend to have by your side. Having undergone genetic testing, Alrik is a carrier of Lafora disease, but this doesn't affect his tranquil and cheerful disposition. His favorite pastimes include leisurely strolls, gentle play, and basking in the sun. Alrik's serene presence and loving heart make him an adored member of the Peach Blossom Basset's family.

Moreover, she is Lafora clear, ensuring her health and vitality. Melia's favorite activities include cuddling up with her human companions, showering them with love, and enjoying leisurely walks. Her gentle and affectionate demeanor makes her an adored member of our High Desert Hound UT family.
Makena
Makena is a delightful blend of European, Brazilian, and American heritage, making her a unique and special member of our family. She is Lafora clear, ensuring her health and well-being. Makena is growing into a big girl who loves to lay around the couch, but don't be fooled—she has bursts of rambunctiousness that keep us all on our toes! Her playful spirit and loving nature make her a joy to have around. Whether she's enjoying a lazy afternoon or engaging in spirited play, Makena's vibrant personality shines through, making her an adored member of High Desert Hounds.
